Acceptance
By downloading or using SunKind, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must use SunKind only in compliance with applicable law and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions that apply to your download.
What SunKind provides
SunKind provides environmental UV forecasts, an outdoor timer, planning tools, and general wellness and protection reminders. It is not medical advice and does not measure absorbed UV dose, calculate a safe exposure duration, prevent sunburn, diagnose a condition, or make tanning risk-free. Use your own judgment, follow local public-health guidance, and consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions.
Location, weather, and availability
Optional location information is used while the app is open to request local conditions through Apple Weather. Forecasts, UV values, and app features can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. Do not rely on SunKind as the sole basis for decisions that could affect your health or safety.
SunKind Plus subscriptions
SunKind offers optional auto-renewable SunKind Plus subscriptions. Price, billing period, and any trial eligibility are displayed before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge your account within 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You may restore eligible purchases in Profile → Restore purchases.
Acceptable use
You may use SunKind for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, interfere with, misuse, or attempt unauthorized access to the app, its services, or other users’ data, except where applicable law does not permit a restriction.
Intellectual property
SunKind and its content, design, and software are owned by or licensed to SunKind and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app, not ownership of it.
Disclaimer and liability
SunKind is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or complete service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SunKind is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and termination
We may update the app or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an updated Terms page is posted means you accept the update. We may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary, including for security, legal, or misuse reasons.
